Survey of impact of rising petrol prizes on volunteering

Dear volunteers,

we received the e-mail below from Volunteering Canterbury promoting a survey done by Volunteering NZ.

"Dear Friend,

Volunteering New Zealand is undertaking a survey to assess the impact of
rising petrol prices on volunteering. The Government Office for the Community
and Voluntary Sector has indicated they see the results as being important in
their supportive work for volunteering.

There are two separate surveys, one for your organisation, and one to be
completed by volunteers. Each should take around three minutes to complete.
Copies of the survey can be downloaded from http://www.volunteeringnz.org.nz/ or
we can e-mail to you on request vc@volcan.org.nz (they are pdf files). If you
are able to help with this survey it would be appreciated.

Warm regards and Happy New Year
from the team at Volunteering Canterbury"

Maybe you have the three minutes to fill out the form. You can send it back to Volunteering Canterbury:

Volunteering Canterbury
141 Hereford St
Christchurch

or directly to Volunteering NZ:

Volunteering NZ
PO Box 24 526
Wellington
Fax 04- 384 3637

Your input will help to promote volunteering and who knows, maybe we can unlock some resources??? :-)

Thank you,
Jessica

Happy New Year!!!

We wish all of you a very Happy New Year:

our valuable volunteers who give hours and hours to keep in contact with their friends,

the service providers who we cooperate with to ensure we can deliver the best service possible,

the board members who work hard to keep the organisational side of things going,

and certainly our service users who hopefully benefit from our friendship service.

All the best and we are looking forward to work with you again in 2006!!!

Kind regards,

Jessica
